16. Pricing
The operator may offer products or services with variable prices where those prices are subject to financial market fluctuations beyond the operator’s control. Where applicable, this dependency on market fluctuations and the fact that any stated prices are indicative prices will be clearly stated in the offer.
Price increases within three months of entering into a contract are only permitted where they result from legal regulations or statutory provisions.
Price increases after three months from conclusion of the contract are only permitted if the operator has agreed to them and:
- they result from legal regulations or statutory provisions; or
- the consumer has the right to terminate the contract from the date on which the price increase takes effect.
Under Article 5, paragraph 1 of the 1968 VAT Act, the place of delivery is deemed to be the country where transport begins. In this case, delivery takes place outside the EU. As a result, the postal or courier service may collect import VAT and/or customs clearance charges from the customer. The operator therefore does not charge VAT.
All prices are subject to printing and typographical errors. No liability is accepted for the consequences of such errors. In the event of a printing or typographical mistake, the operator is not obliged to provide the product at the incorrect price.
